The story
Osaka Concepción is the Buenos Aires outpost of the Osaka Nikkei group, born from the vision of two Diegos and a beach shack in Lima back in 2002. That first restaurant ignited a passion for innovation that, more than twenty years later, has grown into a dozen locations across Latin America and beyond. The Buenos Aires branch opened in 2005, and in 2026 it earned a Michelin Recommended distinction—a recognition of the careful fusion that defines this kitchen.
The menu is built on Nikkei cuisine, where Japanese technique meets the vibrant ingredients of Peru. Think precise cuts and delicate preparations paired with bold, colorful flavors. The result is a harmonious blend that feels both adventurous and refined. Each dish draws on a century of culinary history, yet the execution feels fresh and contemporary.
