Perched on the 25th floor of the IT Tower, more than 100 metres above Brussels, La Villa in the Sky is exactly what its name promises. A glass-walled structure with contemporary design, it offers uninterrupted views over the city – breathtaking at lunch, starry at dinner. Since opening in 2014, this address on Avenue Louise has been a destination for those seeking a meal that matches the altitude.

Chef Alexandre Dionisio

At the stove since day one, chef Alexandre Dionisio describes his cooking as classic with a touch of modernity. His philosophy centres on regularity, rigour, and attention to detail. He works with simple, quality ingredients, letting them speak without unnecessary fuss. This approach, rooted in seasonal cuisine, earned the restaurant a Michelin star – a recognition of the high-level cooking that unfolds in this sky-high kitchen.

The Menus

The chef’s seasonal cuisine changes with the market. At lunch, guests can choose from a business lunch (three courses, 120 €, or an all-in version at 180 € including aperitif, wine, water, and coffee) or a five-course Experience menu at 195 €, with a wine pairing option at 95 €. Dinner offers two paths: the five-course Menu Louise (235 €, except Saturday) and the seven-course Menu in the Sky (295 €, with a 145 € wine pairing). The kitchen recommends allowing two hours for lunch and three for dinner to fully savour the experience.

Practical Notes

The restaurant is not accessible for guests with reduced mobility (two flights of stairs, 48 steps). A smart dress code is required. Reservations are taken online or by email only, up to three months in advance, secured by a credit card imprint. For groups larger than six, private hire is available. A valet parking service is provided. The kitchen cannot accommodate vegan, gluten-free, or lactose-free diets; any unannounced allergy adaptation incurs a 25 € supplement per dish. Children under six are not recommended due to the setting and meal duration.
