The story
In a wooded park below Château Jourdain, on the edge of the Kraainem lake, Chef Maxime Colin runs the restaurant he opened in 2016 – the same year Gault&Millau named him "Jeune Chef de l'année." Since then, his kitchen has earned a Michelin recommendation for its quiet assurance.
Colin’s French cuisine is built on constancy, intuition, and inspiration. He selects exceptional products with rigor, then lets them speak without artifice, respecting the rhythm of the season and the precision of a single gesture. Each plate tells a story of terroir and producer, of an emotion captured in a dish. The result is an elegant, grounded cooking that values balance over ostentation.
The dining room mirrors the kitchen: attentive, discreet, and deeply human. The setting is warm and contemporary, with large windows that bring the water and trees inside. Here, time slows – the pleasure of the meal becomes the only thing that matters.
Whether you come for lunch or dinner, Maxime Colin offers a moment of genuine French gastronomy, quietly confident in its own voice.
