The story
In the quiet shadow of the Heizel, in Strombeek-Bever just north of Brussels, 't Stoveke occupies a townhouse from 1900. Chef Daniel and his wife Petra run this stylish restaurant, which earned a Michelin star for its high-quality cooking.
The kitchen focuses on French fish and meat dishes, given a contemporary, fresh touch. The menu changes monthly, keeping the offering tied to the season. For lunch, a market menu is available for those with less time. The full experience is a four-course gastronomic menu, which can be extended to five courses. A vegetarian menu is also offered.
The restaurant is open Monday, Thursday evening, Friday, and Saturday evening. The atmosphere is refined yet welcoming, a setting that lets the modern cuisine speak for itself.
