The story
In Waasmunster, halfway between Antwerp and Ghent, Roosenberg offers a refined take on the gastronomic brasserie. The kitchen is built around fire—a primal element they have mastered. Fire brings warmth, conviviality, and a subtle smokiness to meat and fish, seasoning each dish in a way that feels both ancient and precise.
The team sources only the best the season and nature provide, often from nearby producers, occasionally from farther afield. Whether you choose Holstein or Rubia Gallega beef, squid or sole, the ingredients are treated with respect and skill. A wine list of 500 international references, award-winning in its own right, offers a fitting match for every plate.
The bar is the heart of the house—a calm meeting point before or after a meal, or simply after a walk in the surrounding countryside. It opens daily from 11:00, welcoming guests for an aperitif or an after-dinner drink.
Roosenberg has earned a place among Michelin's recommended restaurants, a recognition of its consistent quality and thoughtful approach to gastronomy. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, with Sunday and Monday reserved for rest.
Three naturally lit meeting rooms, equipped with air conditioning and high-speed internet, are available for private events, seminars, or press conferences—tailored to each guest's needs.
