The story
Konoba Boba takes its name from a family nickname – a personal dedication that ties the restaurant to the island of Murter, which the owners call home. Located in central Dalmatia, this Michelin Recommended restaurant opened with a clear philosophy: let the ingredients lead.
The kitchen draws daily inspiration from the Adriatic that surrounds the island and the restaurant's own garden. Fresh seafood is sourced with respect for the seasons and local suppliers, while the garden contributes a long list of herbs and vegetables: immortelle, marjoram, oregano, basil, rosemary, mint, tomatoes, peppers, chillies, zucchini, parsley, rocket, cucumbers, apples, pomegranates, oranges, lemons, olives, figs, and mulberries. Each ingredient plays a role in the modern Mediterranean cuisine served here.
The team at Konoba Boba works with trust in their culinary heritage, but they are not afraid to introduce new elements. The result is a menu that feels both rooted and alive. As they put it, the real reward is the alchemy that turns food into smiles – a sentiment that matches the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant itself. With both indoor air conditioning and outdoor seating, the space adapts to the seasons, much like the cooking.
