The story
Chez Marie en Corse serves authentic Italian cuisine from a historic family property just outside Aléria. Marie Orsini founded the establishment in 1967 along the National Road 198 to create a welcoming stop for travelers. Pascal Orsini eventually took over operations, combining his background in luxury hotels with a desire to protect the original homely atmosphere. His partner Sergio reinforces the kitchen standards he developed working alongside renowned chefs in London and Paris.
The menu draws directly from Corsican farms and coastal waters, applying careful Italian cooking methods to highlight seasonal ingredients. Diners frequently share the Grand Seafood Platter, which presents fresh catches dressed with minimal intervention. Pascal and Sergio prioritize ultra local supply chains, ensuring every dish reflects the immediate region.
