The story
Les Terraillers occupies a genuine 16th-century pottery at the entrance of Biot, a hilltop village on the French Riviera. The building’s vaulted ceilings and stone walls create a quiet, bourgeois atmosphere, while the shaded outdoor terrace invites al fresco dining during warmer months. The restaurant describes its own spirit as "refinement, elegance, serenity, conviviality, tasteful pleasures."
Since taking the kitchen, Michaël Fulci has reshaped the restaurant’s identity. The Michelin inspectors note “plates full of Southern flavours, refined and tasty, with beautiful seasonal produce.” Gault&Millau adds that the changes are “most spectacular on the plate, with a much more modern and purer expression of the cuisine.” Fulci’s cooking is firmly rooted in modern cuisine, yet it never loses touch with the sun-drenched ingredients of Provence.
Les Terraillers holds one Michelin star, a recognition of its “high quality cooking” and the precision with which Fulci builds his menus. The à la carte selection offers starters, main courses and desserts, and a dedicated wine list accompanies the meal. The restaurant also provides private parking, two electric charging points, and valet parking during busy periods — thoughtful touches that make the experience seamless from arrival to departure.
