The story
At L'A Cheda in Bonifacio, the kitchen is led by chef Lionel, with François orchestrating the dining room. Together, they create a cuisine that is beautiful, gastronomic, and deeply rooted in revisited Corsican tradition. The result is a cocktail of flavours, a lyrical flight promising delicate dishes to come.
The restaurant is a member of the Nustrale Charter, established with the Bonifacio Tourist Office, which means they prioritise labelled or organic products. Their own kitchen garden supplies vegetables, flowers, and aromatic herbs. This commitment to local sourcing and short supply chains is central to the restaurant's identity.
Beyond the plate, L'A Cheda offers a selection of prestigious wines, including renowned grands crus and esteemed Corsican vintages. The dining experience extends to the pool bar, lounge space, and even immersion in the kitchen with the chef, alongside musical evenings.
The restaurant has earned a Michelin Recommended award, a recognition that aligns with its dedication to quality and terroir. It is open from June to September for lunch and dinner, and from February to May and October to November for dinner only, closed on Sundays. The restaurant accommodates special diets, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free options.
