In the village of Polliat, between Bourg-en-Bresse and Mâcon, Téjérina – Hôtel de la Place offers a convivial and welcoming stop in the heart of the Bresse countryside. The entirely renovated restaurant and hotel centre on a simple promise: a warm, family atmosphere where the love of the craft is passed down through generations.
The team is made up of professionals trained by two of the region’s most respected houses – Georges Blanc and Jacques Guy. This lineage shows in the kitchen’s confident, grounded approach to Bresse cuisine. The restaurant’s Michelin Bib Gourmand recognises dishes that deliver good quality and good value, a reflection of the team’s commitment to honest, satisfying cooking.
The restaurant’s philosophy is built on conviviality and a genuine passion for the métier. Guests are welcomed into a space that feels both comfortable and personal, with outdoor seating for warmer months and air conditioning for comfort inside. The dining room and restrooms are accessible to guests with reduced mobility.
The restaurant serves lunch from 12:00 to 13:30 and dinner from 19:00 to 20:45. Weekly closures are Monday, Tuesday lunch, and Sunday evening. The hotel is not adapted for guests with reduced mobility.
