The story
Restaurant Klima takes its name from the Greek word for “the inclination of the earth towards the pole” – a fitting tribute to the slopes, vines, and celebrated Climats of Burgundy that surround it. This is a dining room that honours its terroir from the very first word.
Chef Kevin Bottemer leads the kitchen with a passion for cooking that is both creative and free. His philosophy is clear: follow the seasons, seek the finest local producers, and find the perfect combination of ingredients. He works with short supply chains, sourcing from the best artisans in the region, and builds his menus around what is at its peak. The result is a cuisine that is technical, intuitive, and deeply respectful of the product.
The menu at Klima is designed to awaken the palate. Each dish is crafted for a precise pairing with the great Crus of Maison Olivier Leflaive – and with wines from trusted colleagues around the world. The dining room itself is refined: delicate glassware, candles flickering in soft spheres, and a rhythm of courses that unfolds like a well-rehearsed ballet. The wine list is extensive, promising a memorable evening of discovery.
Klima has earned a Michelin Recommended distinction in 2026, an acknowledgment of the kitchen’s precision and the seamless connection between food and wine. The restaurant is open for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday in the cooler months, and Tuesday to Saturday from April to October. With air conditioning, wheelchair access, and an atmosphere that is both elegant and welcoming, it is a place where modern cuisine meets the timeless spirit of Burgundy.
