The story
Le Millésime occupies an authentic village house in Chambolle-Musigny, a name that also belongs to one of Burgundy's great crus. The restaurant sits on the Route des Grands Crus, between Morey-Saint-Denis and Vougeot, just 20 km from both Dijon and Beaune. The setting is refined and modern: two dining rooms, one featuring a glass-walled wine cellar that reveals hundreds of bottles, and a private salon upstairs for intimate gatherings.
Burgundy's wines and local products are the core of Chef Matthieu Mazoyer's cooking. The young chef describes himself as an ambassador of the region, offering a daily reinterpretation of the terroir that inspires him. The cuisine is seasonal and modern, built around what the land provides at each moment. Naturally, the dishes are paired with wines from the region.
The restaurant's wine cellar holds 500 references, stored both in the glass-walled dining room and in the authentic vaulted cellar below. The sommelier guides guests to the best pairings, and the cellar itself is open for tastings to all wine lovers. The selection is sourced directly from local growers, including prestigious Burgundy domains.
Le Millésime earned a Michelin Recommended distinction in 2026, recognition of its consistent quality and the team's commitment to conviviality and gastronomic surprises. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, with last orders at 13:30 and 21:00 respectively. It is closed on Sundays and Mondays, and on Tuesdays during even-numbered weeks.
