The story
Just steps from the center of Haslach im Kinzigtal, In Vino Veritas sits peacefully with a view of the nearby pine forest. Inga and Ralf Müller took over the former “Küferstube” in 2012 and renovated it with care, creating a restaurant that feels both welcoming and unhurried. The atmosphere is relaxed, especially in the inner courtyard under the “Weinlaube” – a rustic wine arbor that seats up to 60 guests.
The kitchen here is international, light and modern. Ingredients are market-fresh and natural, sourced with a clear commitment to responsible production. “Healthy food” is not a slogan but a daily practice. The menu changes with the seasons and includes vegetarian options, from a Waldpilz-Risotto with shaved parmesan to Ricotta-Büffelparmesan-Ravioli with truffle sauce. Meat and fish dishes – such as rosy lamb saddle or crispy zander fillet – are prepared simply, letting the quality of the ingredients speak.
True to its name, In Vino Veritas offers a carefully curated wine list. Alongside well-known Baden labels, the Müllers seek out hidden gems from both local and international producers. The selection changes regularly, and the staff is happy to guide you to a pairing that fits your meal.
The restaurant’s honest, ingredient-driven approach earned it a Michelin Recommended distinction in 2026 – a nod to the consistent quality and thoughtful cooking that defines this family-run spot. Whether you come for a midday lunch or an evening dinner, the experience is grounded in the same principle: good food, responsibly made, served without fuss.
