The story
Marlon Rademacher opened La Cuisine Rademacher in Cologne’s Dellbrück district in 2018, at just 23 years old. By 2020, his work earned a Michelin star – an award the restaurant continues to hold. Before launching his own place, Rademacher gained experience in several three- and two-Michelin-star kitchens.
His philosophy, as he describes it, “relies on a interplay of modern crossover elements and French refinement. To guarantee the best quality, I focus on a small selection of exclusive dishes.” The goal is to create a culinary experience that feels both precise and personal.
The cooking is Modern French with a strong seasonal rhythm. Rademacher works with fresh regional and international top-tier ingredients, sourced from carefully selected purveyors. Classic dishes are reinterpreted with creativity and precision, balancing tradition with a contemporary edge. The menu is deliberately compact – each plate is a focused expression of the season’s best produce.
The restaurant offers an elegant setting for this focused dining experience. Guests are welcomed into a space that matches the food: refined, understated, and built around the pleasure of the meal. The Michelin guide describes the cooking as “high quality” – a fitting summary of what to expect from this quietly ambitious kitchen in Köln.
