The story
In Korb, the Rebblick is a place where the pursuit of pleasure finds a home. “Als Genussbotschafter eröffneten wir den Rebblick,” write hosts Nadine and Jochen Gromann. Their restaurant is a habitat for those who appreciate the finer things, with a modern, welcoming atmosphere and a dedication to seasonal, regional cooking. The kitchen’s approach is described as “saisonalen, regionalen und weltoffenen Küche,” always ready to surprise. It is this genuine, unpretentious commitment that has earned the restaurant a Michelin Recommended award.
The cooking here is rooted in Swabian tradition but looks outward. Menus change with the seasons: a winter card might feature “Schwäbisches Carpaccio vom kalten Kräuterschweinebraten” with pickled vegetables, or “Maultäschle vom geschmorten Schweinebäckle” on paprika sauerkraut. Spring brings dishes like “Handgeschabte Bärlauchspätzle mit Bergkäse,” while summer celebrates Pfifferlinge, tomatoes, and berries. A dedicated “Gänseessen” period in late autumn offers both a classic whole goose for the table and a multi-course “Gans besonders lecker” menu. Vegetarian options are clearly marked.
The wine program is a particular point of pride. Each dish on the menu comes with a recommendation from the extensive open wine list. For deeper exploration, guests are invited into the “begehbarer Weinklimaraum,” a walk-in climate-controlled cellar described as a treasure chest of bottled moments. A digital wine pad is also available.
Special events, like the “Küchenparty,” bring guests right into the kitchen to watch dishes being prepared live, paired with wines from Weingut Singer X Bader. The Rebblick is a place of genuine, uncomplicated hospitality, where the goal is simply to offer a moment of true enjoyment.
