The Good Food Guide

Britain's longest-running independent restaurant guide, founded in 1951 by Raymond Postgate. Thirty anonymous inspectors dine as ordinary customers and always pay their own bills. Restaurants are rated on a four-tier ladder from Good through Very Good and Exceptional to World Class, with Local Gem and Readers Recommend designations for neighbourhood favourites.
