The story
Since 2003, Osteria della Corte has been a fixture in La Spezia, just steps from the pedestrian center. The kitchen, led by Chef Silvia, focuses on quality ingredients and a cuisine that changes with the season and the daily catch. Everything is made to order: fresh pasta—tagliolini, gnocchi, tortelli, maltagliati—is prepared daily, and the menu evolves based on what is best at the market.
The restaurant’s commitment to quality has earned it a place in the Michelin guide since 2008, and it continues to be recommended for its consistently excellent Mediterranean cooking. The atmosphere is welcoming, with outdoor seating available for those who want to dine al fresco.
A tasting menu, “Liguria e tradizione,” offers a curated journey through local recipes, with a vegetarian version also available. Dishes range from a creamy potato soup with raw and cooked prawns to tortelli filled with baccalà in a tomato and caper cream, and roasted cuttlefish with a mushroom crust and bagna cauda sauce. The wine list is extensive, with a strong focus on Italian and French labels, plus natural wines and selections for connoisseurs, overseen by sommelier Valdo.
For a more casual experience, the restaurant’s sibling, Accanto, operates nearby as a bistrot and lounge-bar with simple dishes and a wide selection of cocktails and spirits.
