The story
Ladinia occupies the building that holds Corvara’s very first inn licence, number 1, dating back to 1930. Founded by Cesco Kostner, a man who changed the destiny of local farmers, the inn still carries his farsighted spirit. Today, that legacy lives on in the kitchen and the warm, unpretentious atmosphere of the dining room.
The cuisine at Ladinia is a natural expression of the Dolomites. It follows the rhythm of the seasons, favouring simple yet deeply satisfying dishes. The kitchen works with Alpine and Italian Contemporary traditions, creating recipes that honour the mountains. A signature example is the bales – the Ladin word for dumpling – which brings together the best of local tradition and modern experimentation. The menu is a direct homage to the landscape, without fuss or flourish.
This commitment to honest, refined cooking earned Ladinia a Michelin recommendation. The recognition fits naturally into a restaurant that balances deep local roots with a lively, positive energy. The dining room offers a relaxed ambience where guests can savour the food without pretense, surrounded by the striking peaks of the Dolomites.
