The story
Il Chiosco di Bacco began as a family dream: to transform their own vineyard into a real, welcoming restaurant. Over twenty years later, Roberto and his team have built a place that is far more than a simple trattoria. It is a destination for those who love good food and good wine, recognized by the Michelin Guide as one of the best restaurants in the Rimini area.
The kitchen is led by Chef Andrea Gobbi, who creates a menu that the restaurant describes as "the most romantic in Romagna." His degustation menu is a carefully crafted journey through the flavors of the region. The foundations are classic Italian cuisine, with a focus on high-quality meats—Florentine steaks, Chianina, Marchigiana, and Angus—prepared to highlight their natural texture and flavor. Alongside the grilled meats, the menu features handmade pasta made with ancient-grain flours and creative antipasti that showcase the best of local ingredients.
The wine cellar is a point of pride. Roberto personally selects the bottles during his travels, resulting in a rich and varied list. The restaurant is considered one of Rimini's most popular wine bars, offering fine wines by the glass to pair with the chef's dishes.
The setting matches the food. In warmer months, the restaurant spills into a green garden, perfect for a candlelit dinner under the stars. In winter, the space transforms into a cozy chalet, maintaining its romantic atmosphere. The dining room is air-conditioned for comfort during the hottest days. Whether inside or out, the hospitality is warm and professional, rooted in a genuine love for the region's culinary traditions.
