The story
In Schifflange, within the Red Rock complex, Gusto Naturale brings a slice of Italy to Luxembourg. The restaurant describes itself as “bistronomic,” balancing refined technique with the warmth of a neighborhood spot. Its recognition by the Michelin guide confirms the kitchen’s ambition: this is Italian cooking that rewards a journey.
The interior is deliberately welcoming. The restaurant also houses an épicerie fine, making it a place to eat and to shop. The kitchen focuses on fresh ingredients and technique, seen in dishes like a carpaccio of Saint-Jacques with green apple and pomegranate gel, or a pressed duck confit with lemon gel and asparagus. Homemade pasta is central. Gnocchi with peas and stracciatella, tagliatelle with rabbit ragù, and tortelloni filled with braised meat all appear on the menu. A “Nostra Grigliata” section offers grilled cuts—veal chop, beef fillet, Iberian pork—served with mashed potato and sage jus.
Gusto Naturale also offers a “Prêt à Emporter” menu of fresh pasta sold by weight, including ravioli, tagliatelle, and pappardelle, made to order to reduce waste. The restaurant can be privatized for events, seating up to 50 for table service or 100 for a cocktail reception. It is open for lunch and dinner, with a full menu at 59€ and a lunch formula at 28,50€ for two courses.
