The story
At Wynn Palace, SW Steakhouse reimagines the classic American steakhouse with a theatrical flourish. The dining room, appointed with contemporary flair, sets the stage for a show that begins every 30 minutes: the lights dim, and a live performance unfolds at the centre of the room. This immersive experience, paired with a menu of premium steaks and seafood, has earned the restaurant a place in the MICHELIN Guide 2026 for Hong Kong Macau.
Executive Chef Helder Sequeira Amaral, a native of Portugal, has spent his career in award-winning kitchens around the world. At SW Steakhouse, his approach is straightforward: respect the ingredient and make the most of every part, rather than relying on complex techniques. The result is a steakhouse menu that lets the quality of the produce speak for itself.
The kitchen sources premium cuts of beef from around the world, aged to different levels of maturity. A signature is the Apple Wood Smoked Wagyu Chateaubriand – naturally grain-fed Australian Black Angus with delicate marbling, cooked over apple wood for a gentle fruity aroma. The meat is tender, sweet, and richly flavoured. From the sea, the Maryland-Style Crab Cake is a favourite: golden and crisp outside, with refined crabmeat and a lemon sabayon sauce that balances richness with brightness.
Beyond its Michelin recommendation, SW Steakhouse holds a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star award, a Black Pearl One Diamond rating, and a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence. The restaurant also features a bar menu and a set menu, with private dining rooms available for groups of up to eight. For a steakhouse dinner that combines polished service with genuine spectacle, this is a destination in its own right.
