Named after his daughter Emilia, the restaurant opened after a personal journey that took Martínez from his native Veracruz to Nashville and back to Mexico, where he immersed himself in gastronomy. His cooking is a direct expression of that path: inventive, deep-rooted, and unflinchingly honest.

The cuisine at Em is contemporary Mexican, built on seasonal ingredients sourced from local small producers.
