Since 1984, Sea Palace has been a landmark on the waters of Amsterdam, a five-minute walk from Centraal Station. It is Europe's largest floating restaurant, and its distinctive Chinese architecture has made it a familiar sight in the city for decades. Inside, the atmosphere is described as a piece of China in Amsterdam, with an interior that evokes the imperial style.

Sea Palace began as a Chinese-Indonesian restaurant, but was among the first to shift focus entirely to authentic Chinese cuisine. It now specializes in the Cantonese kitchen, offering a wide dim sum menu available until 16:00, as well as Sichuan dishes and Peking duck. Everything is made in-house. This commitment to quality and value has earned the restaurant a Michelin Bib Gourmand award, a recognition it now proudly carries.

The restaurant spans three floors with 600 seats, including private rooms for events and banquets, and is a recognized wedding venue by the city of Amsterdam. Whether you come for the Cantonese specialties or simply to take in the unique setting on the water, Sea Palace remains a singular destination for Chinese cuisine in the Netherlands.
