The story
Restaurant ñ brings a fresh perspective to Spanish cuisine, earning a Michelin Bib Gourmand for good quality, good value cooking. The menu is a series of carefully composed plates. Razor clams are dressed with Pernot and kumquat vinaigrette, whiting with langoustine yoghurt and Swiss chard. Monkfish gets dehydrated squid crème, blood orange, and celery. Vegetables shine: green asparagus with almond milk and cashew crème, grilled salsify with jalapeño and fried capers, charred peas with pickled radish and roasted macadamia. Hearty options include quail with smoked walnut crème and kohlrabi, veal tongue with sea buckthorn and bergamot crème, and pork neck with pickled celeriac and green mole. Desserts are inventive: bread and yeast ice cream with rye crumble, or cucumber and Granny Smith sorbet with elderflower crème fraîche. The atmosphere is relaxed, with counter dining and outdoor seating.
