The story

OH30 Weert: Modern Cuisine in a Restored Historic Mill

A Mill Reborn

Restaurant OH30 occupies one of the best preserved historic buildings in Weert: the former De Wilhelmus Hubertus mill. After a careful restoration from 2012 to 2014, Emile and Elvira Maessen opened the doors in November 2014. The result is a dining room where modern design meets the old mill's character – a comfortable setting with a view straight into the kitchen.

The Experience Menu

The kitchen works with seasonal ingredients, composing an 'Experience' menu that changes with the moment. The team describes their approach as "a bit stubborn, and just slightly different." This Modern Cuisine focuses on letting the products speak, with dishes that reflect the time of year. Guests can watch the action in the open kitchen, adding a layer of immediacy to the meal.

Recognition

In 2026, OH30 earned a Michelin Recommended distinction, cementing its place among notable restaurants in the Netherlands. The combination of a historic setting, open kitchen, and a menu driven by the season makes for a distinct dining experience in Weert.
