The story
In a quiet corner of San Juan, Quezon City, Seva opened its doors in 2024 with a clear intention: to offer a dining experience that is both refined and welcoming. The name, drawn from the Sanskrit concept of “selfless service,” sets the tone for every plate and every interaction. This is contemporary cooking that feels generous, thoughtful, and unpretentious.
The kitchen is led by head chefs Neil Dy and Amanda Hao, who previously honed their craft at the private dining concept 29 Sang. Together, they shape a menu that the restaurant describes as New American cuisine with global influences — creative, consistent, and rich with nuanced flavor. Nothing is overstated; the food speaks for itself.
Front-of-house is helmed by Jonah Chantong, whose experience at The Rooftop Katipunan ensures guests are met with warmth and ease. The beverage program is equally intentional: cocktails are curated by renowned mixologists Niko Tiutan and Alex Atienza, while managing partner Juliana Guzman oversees an extensive wine list.
Seva’s space is designed with sensory detail — an environment that encourages guests to see, taste, and be present. The restaurant has already earned a Michelin Recommended distinction in 2026, a fitting recognition for a team that places quiet excellence above flash.
With counter dining and private party options, Seva is a place for both intimate evenings and celebratory gatherings — always grounded in the spirit of connection and community that its name implies.
