The story

Treinta y Tres in Gdańsk – Spanish tapas by a world-class chef, Bib Gourmand

On the 33rd floor

Treinta y Tres, meaning “thirty-three” in Spanish, takes its name from its perch on the 33rd floor of the Olivia Star tower in Gdańsk. The restaurant is run by the same team behind the acclaimed ARCO by Paco Pérez, and it offers a distinctly Spanish experience: tapas, seafood, and rice dishes in an elegant yet relaxed setting.

The space includes a standout bar at the entrance, stocked with a rare collection of whisky, rum, gin, and other spirits — including single bottles that are hard to find anywhere else.

The chef behind the kitchen

Chef Antonio Arcieri is a two-knife recipient in The Best Chef Awards, placing him among the world’s elite. He trained under Paco Pérez at Miramar, Ferran Adrià at El Bulli, and Eneko Atxa at Azurmendi, before earning his first Michelin star. At Treinta y Tres, he oversees a menu that celebrates Spanish cuisine with clean, product-driven cooking.

The team includes head pastry chef Marek Rosochacki, sommelier Andrzej Strzelecki (WSET Advanced), and cooks who have worked in Michelin-starred kitchens across Europe.

What to eat

The menu covers classic Spanish dishes with modern precision. Start with pulpo a la gallega (Galician-style octopus) or croquetas de jamón ibérico. The arroz de carabineros (semi-dry rice with carabinero prawns) is a highlight for two, as is the solomillo de Rubia Gallega with piquillo peppers and polenta. Desserts range from crema catalana to churros with chocolate.

The kitchen emphasizes natural products and clean execution — a philosophy that runs through every dish.

Michelin recognition

In 2026, Treinta y Tres was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand, recognizing its good quality, good value cooking. It’s one of the few places in northern and central Poland where a chef of Arcieri’s caliber is at the helm, making it a destination for Spanish food in Gdańsk.
