The story
On ul. Estery in the heart of Kraków, Folga operates on a simple, powerful idea: food is meant to be shared. This is not a place for solitary plates. Instead, the kitchen, led by Chefs Nazar Danyliuk and Tomasz Słonina, sends out dishes designed for the table to pass around, taste, and discuss. The restaurant describes itself as a food sharing concept, believing that a meal is best celebrated with loved ones.
The team sources carefully, looking for the best fish, rare seafood from the Mediterranean, and exceptional meat and spices. From these ingredients, the kitchen creates modern cuisine that changes with the daily market. In the main restaurant, you order larger plates to mix and match. At the wine bar, the offering shifts to snacks and tapas, making it easy to drop in for a lighter experience.
This commitment to quality and fair pricing earned Folga a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2025. The guide’s recognition is for good quality, good value cooking, affirming that the restaurant delivers top dishes without inflated prices. For the team, it is a source of motivation to keep striving for excellence.
The space itself is flexible. Private rooms on the first floor can be reserved for groups of 12, 20, or 40 people, making it suitable for business meetings, family gatherings, or banquets. For larger parties, the event manager works with guests to create a custom set menu, starting from 150 PLN per person. Whether you come for a full dinner or just a glass at the bar, Folga is built around the pleasure of eating together.
