The story
Since February 2024, the restaurant at Bema 6 in Sopot has been known as Vinissimo. It is the evolution of Sztuczka Bistro, a space that has operated here since 2017. Under the direction of Łukasz Chwojnicki, who took the helm in 2022, the team continues to serve minimalist, delicious food backed by an exceptional wine selection and flawless service. The kitchen is led by Head Chef Łukasz Theus, who has worked with many renowned chefs and brings a refined, minimalist style to every plate.
The name Vinissimo speaks to the heart of the experience: wine. With over 400 labels and 70 available by the glass, the wine program is a destination in itself. Three sommeliers, Riedel glassware, and a Coravin system allow the team to pour everything from natural and biodynamic wines to legendary classics. The philosophy is one of egalitarian appreciation—whether you are new to wine or a seasoned connoisseur, every bottle is treated with the same respect.
The modern cuisine menu is built for sharing, focusing on high-quality, seasonal ingredients. You might start with an oyster with bergamot dressing and chilli, or a beef tartare with chipotle and smoked mayonnaise. Main courses include Skrei cod with leek and beurre blanc, or a seasonal Black Angus striploin with Café de Paris sauce. The team also bakes their own sourdough bread. This commitment to quality and value earned Vinissimo a Michelin Bib Gourmand award, a recognition that perfectly aligns with its philosophy of good food at a fair price.
