The story
Noriko Omakase is an eight-seat sushi bar in Warsaw, Poland, dedicated to Yōroppa style sushi served in the omakase tradition. Guests surrender themselves to the chef’s hands, receiving a meal that is seasonal, elegant, and artistic, using the finest ingredients available.
Omakase means “I leave it to you.” At Noriko, this translates to a carefully paced sequence of nigiri and otsumami (small dishes), served one by one to maximize comfort and enjoyment. The menu comes in two forms: the Small Omakase, available Friday and Saturday at 5:00 PM, offering 12 courses for 550 PLN; and the Large Omakase, served Wednesday through Saturday at 8:00 PM, with 18 courses for 850 PLN. Selected Sundays also feature a Large Omakase at 15:00. The availability of dishes depends on daily market conditions, ensuring only the freshest ingredients. Beverages are not included, and a 10% service fee is added.
The restaurant defines itself as representing Yōroppa style – a European interpretation of Japanese sushi craftsmanship. The chef spans 11 selections on the small omakase and 16 on the large, focusing on the best available product in season, with precise attention to temperature, timing, and quality.
In 2026, Noriko Omakase received a Michelin Recommended distinction, recognizing its focused, high-quality sushi offering in Warsaw’s dining scene. The recommendation aligns with the restaurant’s philosophy of delivering an authentic, detail-oriented omakase experience.
