The story
On Warsaw’s Plac Trzech Krzyży, NUTA is the personal culinary vision of Chef Andrea Camastra. Born in Monopoli, Apulia, Camastra describes himself as a master of fusing modern and traditional techniques, composing flavours that honour the natural ingredients of his native Bari. His restaurant is the culmination of a career dedicated to the “every note of flavour that plays loudly in his heart.”
NUTA’s kitchen is defined by a clear, original voice: Polish cuisine with Italian accents and a subtle Asian twist. The cooking is inspired by beauty, art and science, driven by strong emotions that push the team to search for new, ideal tastes. The restaurant’s name itself is a nod to music – each dish is conceived as a unique composition, a concert of carefully orchestrated elements.
This approach earned NUTA a Michelin star in June 2023, just 13 months after opening, making it the only restaurant in Warsaw – and one of just three in Poland – to receive the honour. The restaurant retained its star in both the 2024 and 2025 editions of the guide, a testament to its consistent, high-level culinary artistry. Camastra, described by Vogue as “one of the most talented and progressive chefs in Poland,” masterfully combines Italian and Polish culinary traditions, giving them a new, personal sound.
The atmosphere at NUTA is one of quiet dedication. The restaurant was created with “enormous commitment and passion” by the chef and his exceptional team. It is a place where the focus is firmly on the plate – on the quality of ingredients, the precision of technique, and the emotional resonance of each bite. For those seeking a fine dining experience in Warsaw that is both refined and deeply personal, NUTA offers an evening of genuine culinary discovery.
