The story
In 1944, three young brothers — Giacinto, Varese, and Alvaro Cristiani — arrived in Rome at the height of the Second World War, carrying little more than a passion for the cooking of their native Tuscany and a determination to build something lasting. What they built was Fiammetta, a family restaurant that has been running for over 78 years without ever changing hands or losing its founding spirit.
That same spirit now has a Lisbon address. Fiammetta's Campo de Ourique outpost brings together a restaurant and a gourmet deli under one roof, proudly carrying forward the values of those three founders across geographic boundaries.
