The story
At Niyyali in Jeddah, the promise is simple: individually perfect elements combine to create a moment that’s hard to forget. The restaurant’s name evokes a sense of starlight, and the experience follows suit. Located at the Shangri-La Jeddah on the Corniche, Niyyali brings the true essence of Lebanese soul to the table.
The setting is as striking as the food. Inside, a vibrant open dining space buzzes with energy. Outside, the terrace overlooks the Red Sea and the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The views are unobstructed and unforgettable, yet the focus remains squarely on what arrives on the plate.
Chef Hassan Younis leads the kitchen with a deep passion for Lebanese cuisine. “Every plate tells a story,” he says, “and we look forward to welcoming you to experience it with us.” His cooking blends time-honoured traditions with a modern culinary touch, highlighting quality ingredients and authentic techniques. The result is food that feels both comforting and inspired — a true reflection of Lebanese soul.
The menu is inspired by the diverse, rich and bold tastes of Lebanese cuisine. Flavour flows through everything, from mezze to grilled specialties, all crafted with care. The restaurant’s commitment to quality has not gone unnoticed. Niyyali has been named Time Out Jeddah’s Best Lebanese Restaurant and earned a place in the 2026 Michelin Guide Saudi Arabia as a Selected Restaurant — a rare distinction that underscores its standing in the city’s dining scene.
Niyyali is open weekdays from 4 pm to 1 am and weekends from 1 pm to 1 am. The dress code is casual elegant. A minimum charge of 150 SAR per person applies (excluding tobacco). Whether you choose an indoor table or a seaside terrace spot, the welcome is warm and the service is polished — true to the Lebanese tradition of hospitality.
