The story
Sapori Italiani, U TALIANA in Bratislava anchors its Italian cooking in the culinary traditions of Sardinia. Founder Andrea Ena relocated his recipe book from Liptov, where he launched the original venue in twenty oh three, to this two storey space near the Krížna junction. He oversees every plate alongside a dedicated team that handles both the dining room and the ground floor patisserie.
The menu balances handmade pasta sheets with roughly twenty varieties of Neapolitan style pizza. Guests frequently order the Sardinian ravioli stuffed with potato and sheep’s cheese, paired with a bright cherry tomato reduction. The Gault&Millau judges noted the disciplined approach inside this Italian kitchen and awarded the venue a twelve point five rating for its consistent execution. Sweet endings lean toward seadas and a lightly amaretto finished tiramisu.
The lower level hosts a bustling dining room and a counter serving homemade bread alongside sweet breakfast plates. Visitors climbing the stairs discover a retail corner stocked with imported cheeses, brined olives, and dried tomatoes. Warm summer evenings shift the crowd onto the upper terrace, while a private VIP salon remains reserved for closed gatherings. The vertical layout encourages casual browsing before settling into a relaxed evening meal.
