The story
Steak House Preshow has anchored itself in Prešov since opening its doors in 2012. This early commitment shaped the modern steak preparation into a reliable regional standard. Six experienced cooks now manage the kitchen floor, including head chef Ľubomír Chlpek alongside Martin Kríž and Daniel Majirský. They prepare every cut according to exact customer specifications, relying on fresh deliveries rather than pre marinated shortcuts.
Diners typically order their main course served on a heavy wooden board known locally as a denko. The platter arrives with a thick steak alongside gratin potatoes or charred seasonal vegetables. Guests can request that their meat finish cooking directly on a heated lava stone placed at the table. Tartare follows a similar rustic presentation, arranged on a wooden slab with fresh onions and house sauces.
Exposed brick walls and timber beams frame the interior, which staff describe as a relaxed ranch mood. An outdoor terrace extends the dining space during warmer months, while a large motorcycle mounted on a pole marks the entrance. The establishment earned a twelve point score from Gault & Millau last year, recognizing the coordinated service and consistent steakhouse standards. A well stocked bar complements the meal with local draft beers and a selection of aged rums and whiskies.
