The story
Les Voltes de Sant Sebastià has been open since 1999 on Carrer de Sant Sebastià in Moià, the capital of the Moianès comarca. The restaurant is a showcase for the products of this rural corner of Catalonia – organic vegetables, artisanal sausages, wild mushrooms, truffles, and notably their ecological beef. The kitchen follows a market-cuisine philosophy, letting the quality of local ingredients speak for itself.
The dining room is described as tranquil and welcoming, with outdoor seating available and air conditioning for warmer days. The Michelin inspectors have recognised the restaurant with a Recommended award for 2026, citing the honest cooking and the strong connection to the land.
The menu changes with the seasons, but the restaurant offers a tasting menu that gives a complete overview of their style. Priced at €70 per person, it includes three appetisers, two first courses, one fish course, one meat course, a pre-dessert and a dessert – plus drinks and coffee. The carte and wine list are also available, with a focus on Catalan wines.
Beyond the dining room, Les Voltes also runs a catering service for events, and a small shop where guests can buy local products to take home.
Moià sits in the heart of Catalonia, surrounded by natural landscapes ideal for hiking and cycling. The restaurant’s cooking is deeply tied to this setting: the Moianès provides the raw materials, and the kitchen transforms them with restraint and respect. For anyone exploring inland Catalonia, Les Voltes de Sant Sebastià offers a genuine taste of the region.
