The story
Just fifteen minutes from Barcelona, on the road from Rubí to Sant Quirze del Vallès, Masia Can Ferrán sits in a natural setting with ample parking and several dining rooms and terraces. The restaurant has held a Michelin Bib Gourmand since 2002, an award that recognises good-quality, regional cooking served at a moderate price.
The kitchen focuses on traditional Catalan cuisine built from first-rate natural produce, some of it grown on the property. Regulars come for dishes that have become local signatures: beans with cured pork belly or botifarra sausage, artichokes from El Prat prepared in various ways, grilled meats, salt cod, and snails cooked a la llauna. The menu also includes esqueixada (salt-cod salad), escalivada (roasted vegetables), and foie.
Can Ferrán also offers personalised and adapted menus for events, whether family lunches or company dinners. The restaurant is recommended by Tripadvisor and welcomes guests for lunch and dinner in a relaxed, rural atmosphere that lets the food speak for itself.
