That layered past is very much present today — not as decoration, but as atmosphere. Dark timber, low lighting, and understated details give the room a quality that White Guide 2026 likened to Paris and New York, while the hum of voices across all ages keeps it firmly, warmly Göteborg.

French cooking with both feet on the West Coast

The kitchen is led by head chef Liam Valentine and assistant head chef Björn Paulsrud Sirbäck. Their reference points are the great brasseries of Paris and New York, but the ingredients and sensibility are rooted in the Swedish west coast. The result is French cooking that feels classic and playful at once — precise in technique, generous in spirit, and genuinely attentive to the produce behind every dish.
