The story
In Taipei’s Da’an District, within the United Hotel, Pei Full brings a fresh perspective to the culinary traditions of Shanghai. Named a Michelin Recommended restaurant in 2025, it offers a refined take on Jiangzhe cuisine that balances deep-rooted flavors with contemporary elegance.
The dining rooms are both stylish and welcoming, with several private rooms that suit business gatherings and family meals alike. The atmosphere is sophisticated but warm—a setting that lets the food speak.
Under the chef’s direction, the kitchen team draws on deep experience and technical skill. Each dish is a careful nod to Shanghai’s culinary heritage, reworked with modern touches. The menu includes classics such as Zhenjiang marinated pork, Dongpo pork (the famously rich braised belly), Shanghai-style vegetable rice, and a crispy shrimp ball with a fragrant twist. A coconut beef brisket pot and a delicate chrysanthemum tofu soup—where tofu is carved into a flower—showcase the kitchen’s precision.
Pei Full serves lunch from 11:30 to 14:30 and dinner from 17:30 to 21:00. It is a place where tradition meets thoughtful innovation, and where every bite carries a sense of time and place.
