The story
Luma brings the authentic flavors of Spain to Bangkok. Inspired by the country’s legendary tapas bars and family-run establishments, this Thonglor restaurant embraces rustic, time-honored cooking. The menu spans classic tapas and hearty paellas to grilled meats, all prepared with the finest ingredients. This dedication to genuine Spanish cuisine earned Luma a Michelin Recommended distinction in 2026.
Valencia-born chef Pepe Dasí leads the kitchen. He trained under culinary legends like Martín Berasategui and Javier Olleros. His passion for authentic Spanish flavors and commitment to exceptional ingredients define every dish. Signature plates include Gambas al Ajillo – Spanish prawns in sherry-garlic sauce – and Paella del Señoret, a Valencian seafood rice.
Luma is open daily for dinner from 6PM till late, with weekend lunch service on Saturdays and Sundays from 12PM to 3:30PM. The restaurant offers air-conditioned comfort, counter dining, and outdoor seating. It is a straightforward, welcoming spot for Spanish food in Bangkok, backed by Michelin’s recognition.
