The story
Set on the edge of a lake within the Tri Vananda wellness community in Phuket, Jampa is a fine dining restaurant built around a radical idea: that the most luxurious meal is one that leaves no trace. Since its inception, the kitchen has operated on a closed-loop organic farm system, sourcing almost everything from the land and sea immediately around it. The result is a menu of European Contemporary cuisine that changes with the seasons, guided by what the farm provides.
Live-fire cooking is central to Jampa’s identity. Open flames are used not for spectacle but to deepen the flavours and textures of locally grown organic produce. Dishes like Blue Shrimp with gooseberry and cherry tomato, or Grouper with sunchoke and macadamia, show a kitchen that respects ingredients enough to let them speak. For those who prefer a plant-based path, the “Plant – Forward Inspired by Nature” menu offers a dedicated progression, featuring courses such as BBQ Carrot with fermented soybean and logan, and King Blue Mushroom with sunflower seed and fig.
The restaurant’s commitment to sustainability has earned it a Michelin Green Star and a place in the Michelin Guide Thailand, recognised in the 2026 edition. That recognition is not an afterthought here; it is the foundation of every plate that leaves the pass. Dining at Jampa means eating in rhythm with the seasons, seated al fresco by the water, with the knowledge that your meal supported a system designed to regenerate rather than deplete.
