The story
Since 1999, Macaroni Joe’s has been a locally owned and operated fixture in Amarillo’s culinary scene. The restaurant describes its atmosphere as the "warm embrace of Tuscany," where the charm of Italy meets the art of fine dining. It’s a place designed for memorable meals, with an intimate setting that encourages good conversation.
The menu features a distinctive fusion of global flavors, with a spotlight on Italian-inspired steaks and fresh seafood. Among the offerings are dry-aged steaks (21 days minimum), including a Prime Filet and Akaushi Wagyu, alongside seafood dishes like Chilean Sea Bass, Yellowtail Ahi Tuna, and Almond Crusted Trout. Pasta dishes such as Blackened Bayou and Surf & Turf Pasta round out the Italian selections. The restaurant also offers a range of appetizers, salads, and chef's features like Quail with Mango Jalapeno Glaze.
Macaroni Joe’s wine list has earned the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence, a recognition that highlights the restaurant’s commitment to wine. The list boasts over 450 meticulously curated selections from renowned vineyards worldwide, offering perfect pairings for every palate. This attention to wine elevates the dining experience, whether you’re enjoying a steak or a seafood dish.
