The story
Gunshow reimagines the dinner service. There is no single menu you order from. Instead, the kitchen sends out a sequence of dishes, each brought to your table by the chef who made it. Diners share everything family-style, passing plates and trading impressions. The room is open and energetic, with counter seating that puts you in the middle of the action. This format – direct from cook to customer – is the heart of the restaurant’s identity.
The cooking is American, rooted in Southern traditions but never confined by them. Gunshow’s motto, “Defend Southern Food,” is about protecting the region’s culinary heritage while pushing it forward. Menus are hyper-seasonal and change constantly, reflecting what’s best at the market. The result earned a Michelin Recommended distinction – a sign that the kitchen’s confidence and creativity are being recognized on an international stage.
For groups of 9 to 18, Gunshow offers a fixed 9-course dinner at either 6:00 or 8:30. The chefs present each course, family-style, and the entire party is seated together in the main dining room. Because the menu is fluid, the kitchen asks for advance notice of allergies or dietary preferences.
If you want the whole restaurant to yourself, Gunshow is available for full buyouts Wednesday through Saturday, accommodating up to 70 for seated dinners and 125 for reception-style events. The events team can design a custom evening, from cocktail programs to multi-course menus. Whether it’s a birthday, a company celebration, or a wedding, the goal is the same: make it unforgettable. Every dish is a conversation starter, and the chef is right there to tell its story.
