The story
Claudie brings the sun-drenched spirit of the South of France to Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. The restaurant is an homage to la cuisine du soleil — the culinary art form pioneered by the legendary Roger Vergé — where the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean meet the effortless glamour of the Côte d’Azur. The menu is a celebration of the finest, most colorful ingredients, presented in an elevated bistronomy setting. Every plate is paired with service that mirrors the warmth and hospitality of the French Riviera.
Claudie is the newest project from Riviera Dining Group, drawing inspiration from the gastronomic town of Mougins, France. The space itself embodies the spirit of the French Riviera: natural materials like wicker, wood, clay, and stone evoke sun-kissed charm. Glazed tiles and stone paving blur the line between indoor and outdoor, while a central fountain and lush greenery transform the terrace into a serene sanctuary. Inside, a sculptural dome light anchors the room, and versatile seating arrangements accommodate everything from intimate dinners to lively gatherings.
The kitchen’s “cuisine du soleil” philosophy shines through dishes that range from a traditional Bouillabaisse de Marseille to grilled Loup de Mer from Greece, and pastas like Truffle Toupie Macaroni and Caviar Pasta. A selection of raw bar items, carpaccios, and tartares — including Black Angus Beef Tartare and Yellowfin Tuna Tartare — sit alongside wood-grilled steaks and Provençal roasted chicken. The menu also offers a $38 prix fixe lunch and an $85 prix fixe dinner, making it accessible for a midday break or a full Riviera evening.
Claudie’s wine program earned the 2025 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, a nod to a thoughtfully curated list that complements the Mediterranean menu. The restaurant’s ethos is captured in its motto: “Carpe Diem.” Every detail — from the design to the service — invites guests to celebrate life with the chic, festive essence of the French Riviera, elegant yet welcoming. As Claudie’s own words put it, the experience leaves you with an “irresistible desire to seize the day.”
