The story
Inside Azabu Miami Beach, within the Stanton Hotel in the South of Fifth neighborhood, lies The Den—an exclusive 18-seat sushi counter that offers a transportive omakase experience. Helmed by Tokyo-trained chefs, the restaurant operates with the Japanese spirit of omotenashi as its guiding compass, elevating the local culinary scene with authentic Japanese cuisine.
Guests are guided through a refined progression of dishes, from delicate otsukuri and seasonal yakimono to expertly crafted nigiri that showcase traditional Edomae techniques. The menu is intentionally curated with no à la carte options, allowing the chefs to present each ingredient at its peak flavor and texture. Designed for exclusivity and immersion, The Den delivers a journey through authentic Japanese craftsmanship in a serene setting.
This commitment to precision and hospitality has earned The Den a Michelin recommendation, a recognition that underscores its place among Miami’s most compelling dining destinations. The experience is built for those who appreciate the rigor of traditional omakase—guests must be able to consume raw fish, and the chefs accommodate select dietary modifications when notified in advance.
Seating is available Tuesday through Saturday at 7:00 PM and 9:15 PM. The Den also offers private omakase experiences for intimate celebrations, with every detail curated by the team. To preserve the atmosphere, guests are asked to avoid strong perfumes and keep noise levels low—a small courtesy for an evening of focused, artful Japanese dining.
