The story
In the heart of District 1, Oryz Hub is a 1,000-square-meter gastronomic and cultural destination that brings together two distinct yet complementary experiences. This ambitious project, recognized with a Michelin Recommended award for 2026, is less a single restaurant and more a platform for exploring Vietnamese heritage through food and drink.
At its core is NÔM (喃) , a fine-dining restaurant that presents an immersive journey through Vietnam’s three culinary regions—North, Central, and South. The name NÔM draws from Chữ Nôm, the historic Vietnamese writing system, grounding the experience in linguistic and cultural memory. Each dish is part of a narrative that guides guests through the country’s diverse flavors and traditions, making NÔM a living celebration of Vietnamese culinary heritage.
Complementing NÔM is SÂM (蔘) , a multi-level bar space where fermentation takes center stage. The first floor offers a tasting room for pairings, while the second floor is designed to evoke a century-old traditional Vietnamese-Chinese medicine shop, paying homage to the rich pharmaceutical culture of Chợ Lớn, Saigon’s historic Chinatown. SÂM explores Asian fermentation techniques, presenting a menu that reflects time, transformation, and patience.
Together, these two brands form Oryz Hub—a space that honors the past, transforms the present, and reimagines the future of Vietnamese cuisine. Whether you are drawn to the refined, cultural dining of NÔM or the inventive, soulful drinks at SÂM, Oryz offers a singular experience in Ho Chi Minh City’s vibrant dining scene.
