BOU4 Fine Dining in Landeck, Austria – Michelin Recommended & 3 Gault&Millau Hauben

The Experience

BOU4 is a fine dining restaurant with just four tables, set within Hotel Jägerhof in Zams, near Landeck. Chef de cuisine Christoph Geschwendtner leads a team that includes Sabine Kornberger, Christoph Hammerle, Tomas Zuzanek, and Julian Callies. Together they craft a five-course menu that changes weekly, drawing on Austrian, International, and Modern French traditions. Ingredients are chosen with care—cheese from French affineur Bernard Antony, chocolate from Swiss producer Felchlin, and produce from wherever it inspires. The result is a tasting menu that feels both refined and personal. A wine pairing featuring Austrian Spitzenweine is available, as is a non-alcoholic version. For an additional charge, a selection of aged cheeses is offered. The five-course menu is priced at €195 per person; a vegetarian option is €175.

Recognition

In November 2025, Gault&Millau awarded BOU4 three toques, and in spring 2026 the restaurant was included in the Guide MICHELIN. These honors reflect the team’s commitment to quality, creativity, and genuine hospitality. BOU4 is open Thursday to Saturday evenings; reservations are required and the experience begins at 18:00.

The Jägerhof in Zams has long been a reliable destination for fine dining. Now, with the elegant lounge Bou4, the establishment is venturing into entirely new territory. Head chef Christoph Gschwendtner has been appointed, certainly no stranger to the Upper Tyrol region. The menu is suitably ambitious, and the execution matches. Here are a few highlights from the menu: Gschwendtner pairs octopus and red mullet with mildly spicy chorizo, smoked paprika, and piquillo peppers, rounding out the dish with a rich, velvety rouille that you won't find better even in southern France. Next up is Breton lobster, followed by an oriental lamb stew with couscous, and to finish, either a creative chocolate dessert featuring Felchlin couverture or a selection of cheeses from Antony. Or both. Address: Hauptstraße 52, 6511 Zams, Austria Contact: 05442 62642 info@jaegerhof-zams.at https://www.jaegerhof-zams.at/ Team: Christoph Gschwendtner, Chef
