The story
In a restored former townhouse on the Rue de la Gare, Céline and Junior run Cuisinez-Nous, a restaurant that has earned a Michelin Recommended distinction for its classic French cooking. The interior is sober and warm, a setting for unhurried meals built around produce from local partners—La Bergerie d'Acremont, Cafermi, and others.
The menu changes regularly, always based on fresh ingredients delivered daily. A recent offering begins with smoked trout mousse with crayfish salad and candied lemon, then moves to a parmentier of beef and knuckle with pan-fried foie gras and a truffle sauce. For dessert, crêpe suzette with vanilla ice cream. The house specialty is whole lobster roasted with tarragon—best ordered when you book.
A la carte, starters include curry scampi croquettes or scallops with beurre blanc and wakame. Main courses range from veal sweetbreads "grand-mère" style to beef onglet with fries and your choice of pepper or Béarnaise sauce. A cheese board from the region and a classic dame blanche (chocolate sauce, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream) round out the meal.
The restaurant offers a private dining room for family gatherings or meetings, and there is a terrace with a motorised awning. Cuisinez-Nous is closed Saturday lunch, Sunday, and Monday. Bookings are taken by phone only.
