The story
After eleven years running Food Emotions, Mark and Inge Bonneu felt ready for something new. Long evenings cooking at home, eating in Spain, and talking over good wine with their family led to the birth of Bonnetti’s. The space and recently renovated interior felt right, but they wanted more playfulness and a stronger sense of their own identity. That desire is what they now share with their guests.
Bonnetti’s is built on a passion for product and respect for the seasons, served in an unpretentious way. The kitchen offers small gastronomic dishes with a Spanish twist—whether you want a quick meal or a long, leisurely evening. The Bonneus believe that good food with a good glass of wine brings people together and makes them happy. This fusion of flavours and cultures has already earned the restaurant a Michelin Recommended award for 2026, a recognition of their thoughtful, ingredient-driven approach.
The menu is designed for sharing. You can choose a “Bonnetti’s Goesting” tasting menu—a walk through their favourites—or a selection of ten tapas-style gastronomic bites. A daily lunch suggestion changes regularly. Individual dishes range from classic Pan con Tomate and 100% Iberico Paleta to more elaborate plates like Skrei with miso and fennel, or a Brioche Royale with steak tartare, Secreto, and caviar. There are also oysters, a steak tartare made with Irish Black Angus, and a “Schorseneer Carbonara” with mushrooms, Parmesan, and a burnt yolk. Desserts include a Dame Blanche, a cheesecake with local Achelse Blauwe cheese, and a Flan Caramel.
Bonnetti’s is informal and welcoming, suitable for two or a larger group. The interior is fresh, and the atmosphere reflects the owners’ love of spontaneity and togetherness. Whether you stop by for a quick lunch or settle in for an evening of shared plates and wine, the focus remains on what matters: honest, delicious food that lets the product speak for itself.
