The story
At Cadre Culinaire, the kitchen is led by chef Grégory, whose career took him from Alsace to Saint-Barthélemy and Southern Corsica before he and Adeline settled in Huy in 2014. The restaurant describes its cuisine as conviviale et familiale – friendly and family-style – with a focus on modern French cooking. Chef Grégory brings a rare extra skill: he is a trained pastry chef and chocolatier, ensuring every meal ends on a high note.
The restaurant’s consistent quality and value have earned it a Michelin Bib Gourmand for 2026, an award that highlights good quality, good value cooking. The team also proudly notes a 13/20 rating, a sign of their reliable, market-driven approach.
The lunch menu changes daily, priced at 33€ for entrée and plat, or 35€ with dessert. For a fuller experience, the Menu Cadre (48€ for three courses) and the Menu Culinaire (available in four or five services, from 58€ to 72€) showcase local produce and the chef’s inspiration. A children’s menu is also available, featuring artisan cheese croquettes and fried chicken with compote.
The restaurant is located in the centre of Huy, on Rue des Rôtisseurs, open Wednesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner (closed Thursday evening, and Sunday to Tuesday). An outdoor seating area is available, and the restaurant caters for private parties.
The chef’s pastry background is a particular draw – expect desserts that go beyond the ordinary, crafted with the precision of a chocolatier. Whether you choose the daily lunch or the longer tasting menu, Cadre Culinaire offers a genuine taste of modern French hospitality.
